“Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.” (Psalm 139:2)
So many today want to be loved, cared for, and understood. Many couples marry their best friend in life, because that friend understands them the most, and for that they want to spend the rest of their life with them.
But have your ever thought that God understands you best? He created you, but also He has been through what we have been through. No one will ever understand you and I better than God does. Here is the kicker too…He understands what you need in life too. For instance, He understands you may need His salvation for you. He understands you may need a friend to hear and help you. He understands and knows you are going to face tomorrow.
So let me ask you this, “Do you understand God?” He gave us His Word so that we might. In it is everything we need to understand God. But it takes faith and trust in His Word to make it affective in our life. If we can not trust in the fact that the Bible is true answer to all of life, then there is no hope. But if we will, we will understand God, understand His plans for us, understand life, and even understand ourselves.
This entire Psalm 139 is about God being everywhere we go, and knowing all about us, “thou understandest my thought afar off.” So PLEASE UNDERSTAND that God loves you and wants you to understand that you are important to Him.
DO YOU UNDERSTAND?
